We just finished an amazing celebration with the Sorimi tribal people who received the scriptures in their language for the first time. What a joy! Thanks for being a part of this with us 🙂 You might like to share with your team what I shared on our Ethnos Canada Facebook below as I’m sure you don’t alway get to know what you are a part of!! 🙂
See the links below and here’s a few pics of me together with my sister and family celebrating 27 years of labor with the Sorimi people as they receive their first New Testament in this own language!
Martin
After 27 years of faithful service, Poul and Carol Joensen and family presented the first translated copies of the New Testament scriptures to the Sorimi people on August 15!Â
Martin lamb writes: “What a joy it was to witness the joy on everyone’s faces – the range of emotions was palpable as Bibles were presented to the believers and the Joensen family were embraced with gratitude for giving their lives to reach the Sorimi people.”Â
Please pray for this growing church and that their hunger for the Word of God and literacy will continue to grow!Â
“A day later Martin Lamb was walking though one of the Sorimi villages and the sound of Gospel transformation drifted though the air.Â
He writes, “I’m walking through one of the Sorimi villages and I hear praise music coming from one of the tribal huts! What a testimony – here in the middle of the jungles of PNG – the song of the redeemed – from a previously unreached people group – and now part of the Body of Christ.” Take a listen and rejoice with us:Â
